As a kid, I always remember the 100th day of school being a day filled with FUN! Kids would dress up like they were 100 years old, we would play games, and everyone had fun doing activities with the number 100.
I try to bring that same fun into our homeschool every year.
I usually set up the night before and surprise the kids with fun activities for them to do when they wake up. The whole day is centered around the number 100 and it’s always a blast!!
Every year I add in some new things, and I’ve updated this post to include everything we’ve used and loved!

Two of my favorite websites I go to when I need inspiration/printables are Pinterest and Teachers Pay Teachers (which I also refer to as TPT) and that’s what I’ve pulled most of these resources from.
Two units I bought that include LOTS of activities to choose from are:
- 100 Days in School from Teachers Pay Teachers
- 100th Day STEM Teambuilder Stations from Teachers Pay Teachers
*Please note that these are not affiliate links and are all products I personally purchased.
Fun things that we have done on the 100th Day of School (Homeschool Edition):

- Counted to 100 with a number chart.
- Read a number book (My favorite is Chicka Chicka 1,2,3 by Bill Martin Junior)
- Building with 100 items. I used these station cards from Brooke Brown Teach Outside the Box on TPT. The design has since changed since I downloaded them but they are the same. She has several ideas to choose from, but we decided to build with Solo cups and Legos!
- Pattern Blocks to build the number 100. Creating with pattern blocks has always been a favorite activity for my kids. These pattern block templates are from Rulers and Pans Balances on Teachers Pay Teachers. Get the cards here !
- Race to 100 Game
- Made Trail Mix with 100 snacks with this template.
- 100th Day of School Crowns. I used this Free Crown Template from Inspiration Made Simple!
- A Writing Activity: What would you do with $100 dollars???
- Science Experiment: How much is 100 drops of water?
- 100 exercises! (10 jumping jacks, 10 toe touches, etc.)

That’s it!
We can’t wait to celebrate again next year.
